Sugar, Spice, and Freshly Harvested Organs...

Have you ever had one of those moments where you’ve just made some serious headway into a project and you feel like what you have is pretty good, not stupendous, but pretty good, but then, just as you’re about to put the final nail in the coffin you are struck by an idea that would make the thing you are working on so much better it hurts you inside? So then you’re pretty much like “well best throw out all the hard work I’ve already put into this and start anew!!” That’s what just happened… Thankfully I can still use my first few pages with only a few slight alterations, but sadly I have to throw out most of the 12 arcs I had written and the rest are going to have to be seriously edited. FUUUUUUUUUUU

The good news, however, is that the idea that hit me is really going to help my story a lot, while giving a greater sense of purpose to the characters’ designs and motivations. Plus it opens the door to a pretty swag new title. Since most of you guys have heard a great deal of the old plot though, I think it’ll be pretty fun to surprise you guys with the new concept (which will hopefully be picked up by SNAFU-Comics if all goes well at MetroCon!! OoO). But I will leave you guys with that swanky new title I was talking about…

“Asylum”

That is all that I am releasing as of this moment. There wil likely be a witty suffix of some kind attached as well, but that will be the thing that shows up in big letters on the cover. ;D
